PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter body low in the passing resistance of fluid and capable of removing impurities having different particle size from each other with a simple structure and a producing method thereof. SOLUTION: An oil filter 10 has a fiber coarse part 13 and a fiber dense part 14, which are different in fiber density from each other. The fiber coarse part 13 is impregnated with a phenol resin and the fiber dense part 14 is impregnated with a polyamide-epoxy (PAE) resin having relatively large cation equivalent. Because the relatively large sized impurities such as metallic powder contained in most of the unfiltered oil are removed through the fiber coarse part 13 of the oil filter 10 having low passing resistance, the passing resistance of the oil is decreased. When a part of the oil is passed through the fiber dense part 14 of the oil filter 10, the negatively charged fine impurities such as carbon particle are adsorbed and filtered by the electric attractive force of the positively charged PAE resin, with which the fiber dense part 14 is impregnated and which is hardened.
