PURPOSE: A CDMA receiver is provided to realize a low power consumption and an accurate detection for a reverse diffusion timing by controlling an over sample number. CONSTITUTION: A CDMA receiver receives a signal including data diffused by a predetermined diffusion code stream, obtains a diffusion data stream by sampling the received signal according to a predetermined sampling speed, calculates a correlation value between the obtained diffused data stream and a reference code stream, and defines a timing corresponding to the maximum correlation value as a reverse diffusion start timing. The CDMA receiver comprises a reception state detector, a sampling controller(61), a correlator, and a timing detector(59). |
