TOP OF INJECTOR

PURPOSE: A top of injector is used to inject solid transfer material to metallurgical container containing material melting bath with a layer of molten metal in existing or not existing mixture of molten metal and slag and a layer of slag in the range of operating position. CONSTITUTION: A top of injector comprises inlet(21) to inject transfer material to metallurgy container; outlet(23) to discharge transfer material from injector in discharging end of injector; hollow elongate member(25) to limit flow channel(33) of transfer material and be cooled by first cooling fluid between said inlet(21) and outlet(23); outer jacket(35) to be arranged near to longitudinal zone of hollow elongate member(25) and cooled by second cooling fluid.
