PURPOSE: An apparatus for automatically controlling a focus and a screen voltage using an On Screen Display(OSD) and method are provided to provide a producer and a user with the convenience. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for automatically controlling a focus and a screen voltage using an On Screen Display(OSD) and method includes a Fly Back Trans(FBT), a micom(40), an OSD IC(50), and a control element(60). The FBT is to raise a voltage a fly back pulse applied from a horizontal output circuit(10), rectify this with high voltage, and provide to the anode of a cathode ray tube. Also, the FBT provides a large number of divided resistances and divide a high voltage provided to the anode to offer an output with a focus and a screen voltage. The micom is to control a control signal, if a focus and screen control signal are applied from a key input element by user, so as of the OSD screen to be embodied and offer an output a pulse voltage as a level controlled by a level control button of a key input element. The OSD IC is to embody an OSD menu on the screen of an image display equipment under a control of the micom. The control element is to control the focus and screen voltage level according to a pulse voltage level being offered an output from the micom.
