PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wedge club head excellent in operation allowing a player to easily demonstrate his/her high-level technique around the green. SOLUTION: In the head of a wedge club with loft 45 degrees or larger, most of the upper top line 2 of the face 1 is formed by a circular arc R1 of 20-35 mm in radius with the apex T at the position about 20-35 mm from the top of the toe 3a and a circular arc R2 of 50-80 mm in radius from the apex T to the heel 4. And most of the lower leading edge 5 of the face 1 is formed by a circular arc R4 of 20-35 mm in radius along the lower edge of the toe and a circular ark R3 of 140-220 mm in radius from the center of the face 1 to the heel 4.
