PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optically sense latent information and to discriminate between a truth and a falsehood by alternately arraying non-printing elements more by one than integer at both ends of a printing elements of 3 or more arbitrary integers provided on a base line, and encoding it to latent information. SOLUTION: Lengths of first printing elements 14 in non-scanning and scanning directions are a1, b1, lengths of second printing elements 15 in non-scanning and scanning directions are a2, b2, and lengths of third printing elements 16 in non-scanning and scanning directions are a3, b3. Lengths of first to fourth non-printing elements in a scanning direction are w1, w2, w3 and w4, and the lengths a1, a2, a3 in the non-scanning direction are disposed so that a base line 13 is formed a center. A printing element area of a section constituted of a length in the scanning direction of a non-printing element 3 and a printing element 2 for executing latent information to be encoded and a printing element area equal to the section constituted of a length of the element 2 in a scanning direction for executing latent information to be encoded on one printing element and a length of the element 3 in the scanning direction for executing latent information to be encoded on one picture element can be formed the same.
|
