PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a resin molded item having therein a hollow section wherein after a molded item of resin having therein a hollow section is formed, an opening can be formed in the item so as to communicate with the hollow section without subjecting the item to a cutting process. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin 9 is fed into an injection runner 5 connected to a cavity 10 at an injection gate 6 to inject the resin 9 into the cavity 10 from the gate 6. Pressure gas is fed into the cavity 10 from a discharge gate 8 to discharge the pressure gas and the resin 9 blown off by the pressure gas from the gate 8 into a discharge runner 7. After molding the resin, when a die is opened, a resin molded item 1 formed within the cavity 10 and cured matters 12a, 12b formed in the runner 5 and the runner 7 respectively are automatically cut off at the gate 6 and the gate 8 respectively, where an opening 3 is formed in the resin molded item 1. |
