PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a feeding device which is capable of easily changing a lot and which is optimal for many kinds and small lot production by preparing a chute having an inserting passage into which a billet can be inserted and composing at least an outlet side to open and close left and right with respect to a transfer direction so that the upper end side of the billet is avoided from the inserting passage. SOLUTION: A conveyer 1 is horizontally arranged and a billet A is horizontally transported facing a press machine side. An extension guide 3 is provided in the terminal end of the conveyer 1, an inclining guide surface 4 is provided and an introducing guide 6 having a connected bottom surface is provided. A turning central shaft 8 as a center is inclined in the vertical direction by vertically transferring the extension guide 3 side end part with an air cylinder 7. An intermediate guide body 11 is provided before the introducing guide 6, and a chute 13 is provided under an introducing hole 12. A pair of left/right guide members 13 is provided in the chute, the guide members approach and separate each other, and the chute 13 is opened and closed. The billet A is sent to a holding body 27 via the chute 13 and turned to a delivering and receiving position B.
