PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent complicated processing work due to an increase of paper feed frequency of sheets by ensuring sheets used in host mode processing and guest mode processing without increasing the number of paper supply cassettes to be mounted in a paper feeding part. SOLUTION: A main CPU measures the number of stored sheets n in a paper supply cassette and compares the number of stored sheets n with the set number of sheets N read out through a sub-CPU every time when image forming processing in one copy mode is completed (s10 to s13). When the number of stored sheets n is below the set number N, image forming processing in copy mode is interrupted until sheets are supplied into the paper supply cassette while waiting input of image data related to image forming processing in guest mode from an external device (s14 to s17). When image data related to the image forming processing in guest mode is input from the external device during this time, image forming processing in guest mode is executed. |
