PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entry device for a rent-a-car capable of surely preventing the thief of an automobile. SOLUTION: An entry device for a rent-a-car for controlling a rent-a-car 51 to be usable or not by a reserver 52 includes a door locking mechanism 53 for locking a door, a key locking mechanism 54 for holding a main key in an automobile in an unusable and locked condition, a door unlocking means 58 for comparing individual identifying information in an information recording means 55 held by the reserver 52 with reserver identifying information in previously registered reservation information 56 to unlock a door locked by the door locking mechanism 53 when both of them correspond thereto, and a key unlocking means 59 for comparing individual identifying information in the information recording means 55 with reserver identifying information in the reservation information 56 to unlock the key locked by the key locking mechanism 54 when both of them correspond thereto. |
