PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device capable of automatically and certainly preventing a malfunction so as to reduce a burden imposed on an operator or the like. SOLUTION: This cutting device has a cutting blade 9, an air cylinder 10 for operating the cutting blade 9, and a mechanical valve 15 for operating the air cylinder 10. The mechanical valve 15 operates according to opening/ closing operation of a safety cover 14 not to supply pressurized air to an air chamber of an extending side of the air cylinder 10 so that the cutting blade 9 is prevented from advancing toward a web 4 when the safety cover 14 is opened. |
