PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the whiplash injury of an occupant by largely moving a headrest forward following the movement of the upper half body of the occupant at the time of a rear-end collision. SOLUTION: A headrest supporting frame 12 having a headrest 11 fixed therein is attached to a seat back frame 2 rotatably back and forth, a pressure receiving member 16 for receiving a load applied from the front face of a seat back 1 is provided in the lower part of the headrest supporting frame 12, and a distance B between a rotational center O and the upper end of the headrest supporting frame 12 is set larger than a distance A between the rotational center O of the headrest supporting frame 12 and the pressure receiving member 16. With respect to the moving amount of the pressure receiving member 16 by the backward movement of the upper half of the occupant at the time of a rear-end collision, the headrest 11 is moved forward by a distance larger by B/A times than that, and the forward moving amount of the headrest 1 is set large.
