PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic buffer in which sufficient effect can be obtained for suppressing shock and impulsive sound at the time of elongation. SOLUTION: In this hydraulic buffer, a cylinder 1, a piston slidably arranged in the inside of the cylinder 1, a piston rod 4 projected to the outside of the cylinder 1 through a rod guide 7 whose one end is fixed to the piston and other end is fixed on the cylinder 1 and a rebound stopper 3 arranged on the periphery of the piston rod 4 in the inside of the cylinder 1 and softening shock when the piston and the rod guide 7 are collided with each other when the piston rod 4 is extended the most are equipped. The rebound stopper 3 is formed into a cylindrical shape that a large diametral part 31 and a small diametral part 32 are alternatively arranged in a shaft direction, and notches (communicating passages) 31a, 31a through which the small diametral part 32 is communicated with the inside of the cylinder 1 when the rebound stopper 3 is compressed are formed in the large diametral part 31. |
