PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a built-up block capable of retaining a rigid built-up state and sufficiently supporting the upper and lower loads of the block and providing a stably connected condition of the blocks even when a foundation flows out and further, installing a fixing member to bind the blocks to the ground and preventing the ground from being damaged and also a rapid flow from forming by reducing the speed of a water fall or a water stream. SOLUTION: This built-up block is used to construct an embankment, a retaining wall, a building, etc. When constructing such a structure as above, the block is formed to have recesses at the middle parts of the side faces of the body 2 so that concrete can be placed and cured in both upward and downward sides and also both right and left sides to connect the blocks. The recesses 3, 23 are formed at the side faces for forming the vertical inflow spaces 4 when constructing the structure, and the recesses 5 are formed at the right and left sides of the middle of the upper face of the body 2 to form lateral inflow spaces 6 when constructing the structure.
