PURPOSE: A method for blocking a call is provided to perform a call blocking function in an operator terminal, among intelligent network services. CONSTITUTION: A method for blocking a call using an operator terminal in an intelligent network exchange comprises the steps of: inputting a call blocking request command for performing a call blocking function, to an operation maintaining processor(20) in an operator terminal(10); transmitting the call blocking request command to the operation maintaining processor(20), and generating a process command for performing the call blocking function by the operation maintaining processor(20); transmitting new information of the call blocking for a substantial call blocking function, to an internal connection network processor(30) by using the generated process command; renewing the new information to a database(33) by the internal connection network processor(30); and delivering a tone which shows that a call is not connected, to a transmission terminal(40) which required the intelligent network call connection, when a requiring number of the intelligent network is transmitted from outside, and when the transmitted call connection number is registered as the new information, renewed in the in the database(33).
