TAPE CARRIER PACKAGE FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

摘要

PURPOSE: A tape carrier package for a liquid crystal display(LCD) is provided to minimize cracks of signal patterns by forming a pattern for a buffer in a vacant space of the tape carrier package. CONSTITUTION: A tape carrier package for a liquid crystal display(LCD) comprises: a base film of which one end is connected to an LCD panel and the other end is connected to a printed circuit board(PCB); and signal patterns composed of a plurality of common signal patterns and input/output patterns extended from a driver integrated circuit(IC) to both ends of the base film, the driver IC being mounted on the base film.
