PRODUCTION OF SILICON-CONTAINING AQUEOUS COATING AGENT COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for a silicon-containing aqueous coating agent composition excellent in leaving stability, coating film transparency, weatherability stain resistance, water resistance and solvent resistance. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by polymerizing a condensation product of (A) a polyalkoxypolysilane or (A') tetraalkoxysilane and (B) an unsaturated monomer containing at least one kind of functional group selected from a hydrolyzable silyl group or epoxy group with (C) an carboxyl-containing unsaturated monomer in an organic solvent, neutralizing the resultant, removing from the organic solvent system and adding water thereto.
