PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with filling of saturated aqueous solution of chemicals beforehand, prevent the leakage of the contents, and prevent the change in dechlorination performance of the chemicals by providing a hydrophilic resin including water soluble chemicals in a chemicals supply cartridge filled on the way to a supply waterway and eluting the chemicals in the supply water. SOLUTION: A cylindrical cartridge 1 is formed by rounding a hydrophilic resin into a cylindrical shape, chemicals for example, ascorbic acid 2 is inserted therein, and its end is, for example, sealed by a plug 3 composed of polyethylene. A lot of cartridges 1 are inserted in a cylindrical container to constitute a chemicals supply cartridge. When raw water such as tap water is made to flow from one end of the chemicals supply cartridge, the raw water flows from the other end through clearances formed between respective cartridges 1 as treated water. Then, the tap water is dechlorinated by ascorbic acid so as to be used as water giving no stimulus to the skin and the hair, for example, the shower water and the bath water. |
