PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve the communication between a patent and a nurse, etc. by connecting switches which are selected and may be easily operated according to the state of disorder to a nurse call and making the combination use thereof. SOLUTION: A universal arm 3 is capable of fixing a main body 2 to a free position. The manipulation switches 1 are plural kinds of switches selectable by the state of the patient having the disorder in the limbs, etc. A plurality of indicator lamps are arranged at the front panel of a main body 2 and are successively flickered; in addition, the contents of the communication necessary for the patient are briefly displayed by characters or symbols at the respective indicator lamps. The patient views the display surface and when the patient activates the manipulation switches 1 while the indicator lamps at which the desired communication contents are displayed are lighted, the contents are supplied to a nurse call terminal 5 through a junction box 4 from the main body 2 by the action of a controller. The voices of the displayed contents are conveyed through the nurse call system to the nursing person or the like, and the nursing person responds to the patient with the voices by the speaker of the nurse call system.
