PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To let a child brush teeth pleasantly and rightly by changing a display of a dentition display part from pulling out a toothbrush from a toothbrush holding mount till returning it to its original position and by matching the direction and period of turning-on/off of the dentition display part in time to the period of the vertical or lateral movement of the toothbrush. SOLUTION: ON/OFF signal of a toothbrush switch 11 is processed by transmitting it to CPU 22 via an input part 23. That is to say, when the toothbrush detection switch 11 is turned on, a toothbrush 4 is detected to be held so that a holding reset signal is outputted, and when it is turned off, the toothbrush 4 is detected to be pulled off and a holding release signal is outputted. Start of a lighting display of the dentition display part 5 is commanded by the output of the holding release signal. Namely, the CPU 22 outputs signals driving the turning-on/off of each unit display part 6 in the dentition display part 5 according to the contents programmed beforehand at prescribed time intervals to the dentition display part 5 via the output part 24 and a liquid crystal panel driver 26 and controls the lighting display.
