PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a supporter that corrects effectively hallux valgus, give a comfortable feel when worn, allow a stocking or shoe to be worn over, simplify the structure and manufacture cheaply. SOLUTION: This supporter is formed of a knitted fabric that extends in the longitudinal and crosswise directions of a foot. A cylindrical main portion 4 into which the tread of the foot is inserted into and can tighten the tread, and a cylindrical hallux insertion portion 6 that is provided continuously on the inside end of the crosswise direction of the front edge and the hullux is inserted into. An opening 8 that makes the second to fifth toes project out, is provided in the part where the hallux insertion portion 6 is not provided continuously at the front edge of the main portion 4.
