PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper motor rotating position detecting device capable of stably controlling each wiper blade. SOLUTION: This device includes a contact plate 30 which has a wiping area matching the wiping angle of each wiper blade, a deceleration area disposed at each end of the wiping area and a constant-speed area disposed between the deceleration areas, a single contactor which generates a wiper-driving reference signal when on the constant-speed area of the contact plate 30, which generates a wiper-decelerating reference signal when on the deceleration area of the contact plate 30, and a restraint means 40 for restraining the rotation of a rotor 10 coupled to each wiper blade, when each wiper blade has reached an operating end.
