PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a mold for preventing the wear of surfaces rubbed each other for fitting and feeding a lubricant to set up an adequate lubricated state at all times, and also provide a press using the mold. SOLUTION: Surfaces rubbed each other for fitting at the time of press work are formed on a mold comprised of a top force 10 and a bottom force 40. The top force 10 is moved up and down together with a slide 76 by a clamping device 78. When the top force 10 crosses an optical sensor 81, a pressure oil feeder 82 is driven by a control device 84 based on a sensed signal of the optical sensor to feed pressure oil (lubricant) of a given volume into channels formed on the surfaces of the top force 10 and the bottom force 40. The channels form lubricant passages in the state of being rubbed and fit both forces 10 and 40. The lubrication for both forces 10 and 40 is carried out by the lubricant. On the other hand, the lubricant thus introduced is drawn from a recovery hole and recovered therefrom.
