PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject raising reef, effectively using stones, capable of being established in a shallow place in a stable state and having little fear to be destroyed by wave, tidal current, etc., and capable of creating a stone- spread reef to which abalones and turban shells easily creep up by installing a stone-spreading part on a ceiling part, while installing guard lattices and protruding parts on specific positions. SOLUTION: In a basic structure for a raising reef of livings creepingly moving on the sea bottom comprising a steel-made framework structure having a relatively low height to the ceiling part compared with horizontal and vertical lengths, a stone-spread part is installed in the ceiling part, while guard lattices 6 are installed in the front part at least facing to the shore below the ceiling part and protruding parts 8 outward of the bottom 7 of the front face. The base structure is installed with a steel-made frame 2 having a relatively lower height compared with horizontal and vertical lengths and a rectangular prism- like steel-made unit 3 and the plural steel-made units 3 can be adjacently mounted on the frame 2.
