PURPOSE: A magnetic head apparatus and a disk drive apparatus are provided to be able to follow a magnetic head by a high precis ion with regard to a signal recording plane of a record medium. CONSTITUTION: A head part(121) is provided with has a first and a second magnetic head element for recording and reproducing an information signal at a first and a second magnetic disk. A support arm(122) has first to third portions(131,132,133). The first portion(131) supports the head part(121), the second portion(132) is mounted at an arm support member(124), and the third portion(133) connects the first portion and the second portion. The first, second and third portions(131,132,133) of the support arm(122) are formed to have different shapes from each other so that various physical characteristics are different from each other.
