CIRCUIT FOR COMPENSATING DEFECT OF OPTICAL DISC REPRODUCTION DEVICE

PURPOSE: A circuit for compensating defect of an optical disc reproduction device is provided to prevent jumping of tracking by intercepting an overshoot of a tracking error signal. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for compensating defect of an optical disc reproduction device comprises a differential amplifier for outputting a signal by amplifying a difference between each auxiliary beam output from a pickup portion and a sum portion for outputting a sum signal by adding the sum of the auxiliary beams to a reference signal. A differentiation portion calculates a variable rate of the sum signal from the sum portion and varies the sum signal to a constant pulse. A pulse detection portion detects only a pulse signal of a specific component. A delay circuit delays a pervious beam of each auxiliary beam as much as a width of the detected pulse signal of the specific component.
