PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a print operation under low temperatures and enlarge a use range by driving a thermal insulating means when a temperature-detecting means detects that an internal temperature of an apparatus such as a camera with a printer or the like is within a predetermined temperature range. SOLUTION: The camera with a printer has a control circuit 1 for controlling various operations of the camera, thereby controlling an image pickup part 2 such as a CCD for photoelectrically converting a copy body image or the like, a printer part 4 for printing to a recording paper in accordance with a photoelectrically converted signal, and the like. In this case, a heater 10 is provided as a thermal insulating means for thermally insulating ink in a recording head 107. When an outside air temperature measured by an external temperature sensor 12 is lower than 10 deg.C and an internal temperature measured by an internal temperature sensor 11 is not lower than -5 deg.C, the control circuit 1 feeds electricity to the heater 10 to thermally insulate the ink. However, when the internal temperature is -5 deg.C or lower, the control part stops an operation related to a print operation including the heater 10. |
