PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing unit which can restrain occurrence of noise and vibration, and which can reduce the torque of an angular ball bearing while the supporting stiffness of a rotary shaft upon occurrence of an excessive axial load, and which can prolong the use lift of the angular ball bearing. SOLUTION: Angular ball bearings 5, 6 are provided on a rotary shaft 1 at two positions which are axially spaced from each other, and two spacers 7, 9 are interposed between the ball bearings 5, 6 while a resilient urging member 10 is interposed between the two spacers 7, 9 so as to axially separate the two spacers 7, 9 from each other. With this arrangement, a small axial gap is defined so as to allow both spaces 7, 9 to be prevented from making contact with each other even though the temperature rises.
