PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to an antiskid control solenoid valve by preventing application of a surge voltage between the housing of the solenoid valve and an inner coil due to the flowing into the solenoid valve of a surge current resulting from the surge voltage. SOLUTION: In a pressure intensifying cylinder for rolling stock, including an air cylinder part 3 actuated by compressed air supplied from an input port 2, a hydraulic cylinder part 5 outputting from an output port 4 hydraulic pressure corresponding to the actuation of the air cylinder part 3, a mounting flange part 8 provided integrally with the cylinder body of the air cylinder part 3 and adapted for mounting on the truck 7 of the rolling stock, and an antiskid control solenoid valve 10 which is provided on a part of a pneumatic pipe line 9 linking the input port 2 to the air cylinder part 3, and which can limit the supply of the compressed air to the air cylinder part 3 and exhaust the compressed air in the air cylinder part 3, an insulating material is disposed to intervene in the upstream and downstream of the solenoid valve 10 to insulate the solenoid valve 10 electrically from the pneumatic pipe line 9.
