PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction device for a retaining wall laid in a self-supporting coursed masonry way, by which wedge blocks can be securely held and slung. SOLUTION: A slinging device 2 provided with a holding means constituted of two sheets of upper arms 3, one sheet of lower arm 14 rotatably connected 14 thereto, and a claw 17 is formed between a base frame 1 on which a plurality of wedge blocks 103 are horizontally arranged to get in a line, and a support body 16 supporting a slinging bar 15 having a hollow square section and the wedge blocks. Fixing metal tools 15 having a nearly U-shaped form deciding the relative position of the axis of the wedge block 103 and the support body 16 against the lower face of the support body 16 are provided and further, safety locks fixed in the state that the claw is opened or the block is held is provided.
