PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide expandable vinyl chloride based resin compositions which prevent a plastisol from thickening to enhance workability and prevent the plate-out upon embossing and furthermore, improve processability by possessing heat stability without impeding the kick-off of expansion and, in addition, can remarkably heighten the commercial value of the products. SOLUTION: Expandable vinyl chloride based resin compositions comprises 100 pts.wt. vinyl chloride based resin, (a) 30-120 pts.wt. plasticizer, (b) 30-200 pts.wt. filler, (c) 0.1-10 pts.wt. thermal decomposition type chemical blowing agent, (d) 0.05-5 pts.wt. at least one of alkaline earth metal perbasic carboxylate or alkylphenolate, and (e) 0.01-2 pts.wt. at least one compound represented by the formula: R-O(CH2CH2O)nH (wherein R is 4-18C alkyl or alkylaryl; and n is a number of 1-15).
