METHOD FOR POURING INERT GAS INTO METALLIC PIPE IN WELDING TIME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save a pouring quantity of an inert gas into a metallic pipe when welding is executed. SOLUTION: In a pouring method of an inert gas wherein an inert gas supplying pipe 17 is connected to one end of a metallic pipe 19 to be welded and the inert gas is poured into the metallic pipe with the supplying pipe 17 in a state that the other end of the metallic pipe 19 is opened, air within the metallic pipe is pushed out in the outside of the metallic pipe from the other end of the metallic pipe 19 with the inert gas without agitating air within the metallic pipe 19 by intermittently pouring the inert gas into the metallic pipe 19 with a slight pressure, and air within the metallic pipe 19 is replaced by the inert gas.
