PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball holding toy capable of removing the malfunctions of a ring hole and being used for various purposes. SOLUTION: This ball holding toy is manufactured by fixing two sheets of thin discs, that is, an upper disc 2 and a lower disc 3, larger than a diameter of a cylindrical shaft body, to the cylindrical shaft body in parallel with its upper and lower surfaces. The upper disc 2 is formed as a upwardly warped disc by slightly warping its outer peripheral edge, and the lower disc 3 is formed as an edged disc by providing its outer peripheral edge with an edge of small width and height. A motor for rotating two discs 2, 3 are installed inside of the shaft body, so that the discs 2, 3 can be optionally used in a rotated state.
