PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the contents in a pan from boiling over by an auxiliary tool and to improve the heat efficiency of the pan with the covering on the top face opening of the pan by constituting the auxiliary tool of a hole provided in the bottom of the pan and by using the auxiliary tool as a substitute for a lid in the pan. SOLUTION: An auxiliary tool 1 is used as a substitute for a lid in a pan 5 and the contents in the pan 5 allow boiling bubbles to emit from a hole 4 provided in the bottom 3 of the vessel 2 in the auxiliary tool 1. The emitted boiling bubbles are discharged from a filling port 6, however, the boiling bubbles may be discharged to the pan 5 by vertically moving the grip with a recess 8 in the circumference of the filling port 6 and a recess 8 set to the fulcrum, at the same time when the grip 7 of the auxiliary tool 1 is raised a little to lower the inside temperature of the pan 5. This hole 4 is convenient for inserting cooking chopsticks therethrough and agitating the contents in the pan 5, however, it can improve the heat efficiency compared with a case having no lid put on the pan. When the hole 4 is covered with a dedicated lid 9, it can provide the same work as that of the general lid.
