PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary printing apparatus which can rotate a disc printing medium stably at the time of printing operation and realize high-quality image printing. SOLUTION: The rotary printing apparatus comprises a thermal head 11 for carrying out heat-sensitive printing in a main scan direction in parallel to a radial direction of a disc printing medium M having a heat-sensitive coloration layer, a spring 11a for pressing the thermal head 11 to the disc printing medium M, a rotary stage 19 for supporting the medium M rotatably in a sub scan direction in parallel to a circumferential direction of the disc printing medium M, a pinch roller 31 for rotating the disc printing medium M in touch with an outer circumferential part of the medium, and the like. |
