PURPOSE: A method for location a mobile station in the spreading spectrum communication system, is provided to improve the presumption of time delay and to reduce the coverage holes. CONSTITUTION: The method includes receiving by a first base stain a signal transmitted from the mobile station; demodulating the signal by the first base station to form a demodulated signal; remodulating at least a portion of the demodulated signal to form a reference signal. Each receive group of receive signal samples is input to first hadamard transform. The demolduating framee includes a demolduated information section, the quality indicator of demolduating framee and the bit section of demolduating tail. The demultiplexer separates the information part demolduated and the quality indicator of demolduating frame(88).; receiving by the first base stain and a second base stain a retransmitted signal; comparing, by the first base station, the retransmitted signal with the reference signal to determine a first delay; comparing, by the second base station, the retransmitted second signal with the reference signal to determining a location of the mobile station.
