PURPOSE: A solidifying agent for ground is provided, whose permeable time is long, permeability is good and solidification strength is high, and which affects little influence on environment. CONSTITUTION: A solidifying agent for ground is prepared by mixing 0.5-5 vol% of the neutral silica sol (based on the silica sol containing 30% SiO2) which is obtained by treating sodium silicate with an ion exchange resin to remove most of an alkali in the sodium silicate and granulating it; a corpuscle cement; and optionally slag, wherein the amount of the neutral silica sol is such that the viscosity increases after mixing but the mixture does not completely gel, the precipitation ratio is decreased to less than 40% by the increase of viscosity, and the mixture becomes the plastic state in one or more minutes after mixing and/or the plastic state is maintained for 10 or more minutes. The specific surface area of the corpuscle cement is more than 4,000 square centimeter per gram. |
