PURPOSE: A produce of laver degraded by enzyme is provided, which descends the blood pressure, decreases the value of blood sugar, reduces the amount of cholesterol in blood and a liver, suppresses the calcium precipitation, improves the liver function, and has anti-oxidation activity, SOD (super oxide dismutase) activity and anti-mutation activity. CONSTITUTION: A produce of laver degraded by enzyme comprises a peptide mixture which is prepared by heating laver in water for one or more hours, removing the broth, adding water and pepsin into the residue to allow laver to be degraded by pepsin, and optionally degrading it by using an enzyme having peptide activity. The produce of laver degraded by enzyme which is degraded by the enzyme having peptide activity, contains 10 or more percent of free amino acids. |
