<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber-modified thermoplastic styrene resin composition excellent in the balance among slidabilty, impact strength, molded appearance, scratch resistance, and flame retardance by compounding a resin component comprising a rubber-modified thermoplastic resin and a rubber-reinforced styrene resin with specified amount of a polyolefin wax and/or a silicone oil. SOLUTION: 100 pts.wt. resin component comprising 1-99 wt.% rubber- modified thermoplastic resin and 99-1 wt.% rubber-reinforced styrene resin is compounded with 0.1-7 pts.wt. polyolefin wax and/or silicone oil. The rubber- modified thermoplastic resin is prepared by the graft polymerization of a monomer component in the presence of a rubber polymer comprising 5-95 wt.% ethylene units, 95-5 wt.% 3-20Cα-olefin units, and 0-20 wt.% conjugated diene units and having a melting point of 0 deg.C or higher and has a graft ratio of 10-100% and an intrinsic viscosity of methyl ethyl ketone solubles of 0.2-0.8. The rubber-reinforced styrene resin contains, as the essential ingredient, a graft polymer prepared by the graft polymerization of a monomer component in the presence of a rubbery polymer.</p> |
