PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a permanent set in fatigue and to prevent a streak-like dark and light unevenness of an ink on a printing surface caused by a string. SOLUTION: In the blanket for offset printing, a base layer 22, a compressive layer 3, an elongation inhibiting layer 24 and a surface rubber layer 25 are sequentially formed on a metal sleeve 21. In this case, the layer 24 is formed by winding a string on the layer 23, and the string is previously compressed to 90 to 50% of an original thickness. |
