PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a driving mechanism compact in structure in which a motor and an output shaft are usually kept free and the output shaft is made reversely rotatable. SOLUTION: A driving device has a connecting gear 12 to engage with an output shaft 6 connected to a plug member in a cleaning tank; a bidirectionally rotatable motor 4; a middle transmission section 13. The middle transmission section 13 has a sun gear 14 rotated by the motor; two planetary gears 15, 16 disengageable to the connecting gear 12; and an oscillating ring 17. The drive device 1 has the first mode where the motor 4 is rotated in one direction to transmit its driving power to the output shaft 6 through one planetary gear 15, and the output shaft 6 rotates in one direction; the second mode where the motor is rotated in an another direction to transmit the driving power to the output shaft 6 through the planetary gear 16 for rotating the output shaft 6 in the another direction; and the third mode where the motor 4 is stopped in a state in which two planetary gears are seceded together from the connecting gear 12.
