PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and surely identify various conditions such as cutting purposes and utilizations by providing the circumference of a fitting hole with a pattern or a recess pattern showing the characteristics of a throw-away tip. SOLUTION: A throw-away tip 10 having a small nose R of nose parts 12a, 12b is provided with a ring recess pattern 11a having a waveform circumferential edge in the circumference of a fitting hole 11 provided in its center. A throw-away tip 20 having a large nose R of nose parts 22a, 22b is provided with a ring recess pattern 21a having the circular circumferential edge in the circumference of a fitting hole 21 provided in its center. In this way, the throw-away tips 10, 20 having different noses R of the nose parts 12a, 12b, 22a, 22b are provided with different recess pattern 11a, 21a in the circumferences of the fitting holes 11, 21 respectively so that the throw-away tips 10, 20 can be easily identified.
