ORGANOSILOXANE COMPOSITION AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyorganosiloxane composition having excellent moisture resistance and mechanical characteristics without impairing surface appearance. SOLUTION: This polyorganosiloxane composition comprises a polyorganosiloxane and a silane clay complex. The silane clay complex body is prepared by introducing a silane-based compound of the formula YnSiX4-n ((n) is an integer of 0-3; Y is a 1-25C hydrocarbon group or an organic functional group composed of a 1-25C hydrocarbon group and a substituent group; X is a hydrolyzable group and/or hydroxyl group; (n)Ys and (4-n)Xs may be the same or different) into a swelling silicate. The average layer thickness of the silane clay complex in the resin composition is <=500Å.
