PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To economically provide a ball collection mat having a smooth surface, free from the abrasion, preventing the balls from being soiled, and having the proper cushioning characteristic for capturing the golf balls. SOLUTION: A vinyl chloride resin composition is applied and laminated on one surface of a mat base having 85-95.7 volume % of fine pores and manufactured by impregnating the felt prepared by laminating a fiber web onto the base cloth and needle punching the same for coating the fiber 21 forming the fiber web with the latex 22 and bonding the fibers, and impregnating the obtained porous latex reinforced felt with a vinyl chloride resin composition 23, to manufacture the golf range ball collection mat 26. A smoothening agent is blended in the surface coating film 25 to adjust its smoothness to be below 5.5 Kg.
