PURPOSE: A solar reflecting glass block is provided which has high solar reflection, no flash to sunlight and sufficient lightning for a material of an outer wall of a building with long time life by being formed a metallic oxidation film. CONSTITUTION: The process for producing solar reflecting glass(10) comprises the steps of; molding glass into a hollow box type comprising a pair of a faced transparent or translucent wall; spraying solution containing metallic compound to the inner wall of a transparent wall one or more; forming metallic oxide film(11) such as cobalt-based, iron-based and titanium-based oxide which has reflectivity of 15-60%, absorbance of 5-60% and transitivity of 20-70% to sunray; softening an edge of a glass molding by heating, followed by sealing.
