OZONE-INDUCED GENE EXPRESSION IN PLANTS

摘要

PURPOSE: Plants treated with ozone improves biosynthesis of non specific enzyme and protect cell from damages caused by oxidative pressure. A novel DNA sequence and a coding sequence thereof are provided to produce new plants CONSTITUTION: Provided are new DNA sequences produced from Vitis vinifera and a method for producing new plants which contain a new DNA sequence, the coding sequence thereof being expressed after ozone induction. The new plants and the use of DNA sequences is also provided to produce ozone-responsive gene expression in plants and plant cells. Moreover, it relates to a new promoter, the specificity thereof being increased by removal of the ozone response capacity thereof.
