PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting mechanism for a constant load spring for making a door easily open in emergency. SOLUTION: For a sliding door wherein a rail is installed above a door 10 and the door is movably hung and supported on the rail, a bracket 25 mounted with a constant load spring 22 is arranged above the door 10, the bracket 25 is pivotally mounted on one of hanging and supporting members 11 for hanging and supporting the door 10 and the end of the constant load spring 22 is secured to the end of the rail.
