PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the safety of on-street operation by completely removing mud and sand in a metallic taste in a water pipe while easily carrying out cleaning in a single operation manner even by anyone because there is no damage of end sections and taking off a valve in a short time. SOLUTION: The single-operation drain is composed of a tapered hole made up of a metal or a synthetic resin having hardness being difficult to rust and a tapered spindle valve 8 and an instantaneous high water-pressure preventive device 4 generated at the time of the turn-on of a switch. The device 4 is installed at the end of an arm 10 expanded and contracted in a cylinder, and the valve 8 is held down tightly and water is stopped when the arm 10 is elongated at that time. A device capable of removing the valve at any time at the time of contraction is mounted.
