PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrying and sorting device capable of ensuring carriage of articles to be carried out of a carriage plane. SOLUTION: This device has slidable members 12 provided on carriage slats defining a carriage plane 9 and extending perpendicularly to a carrying direction for sliding in its longitudinal direction. The slidable members 12 are slid in sequence to the longitudinal direction of the carriage slats to carry articles A on the carriage plane to a carry-out chute 11 provided perpendicularly thereto. Partition members 30 are provided to be set in and out of the carriage slats located at both sides of an area L required to carry out the articles A.
