PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet feeding device capable of preventing non-feed and double feed of recording papers stored in a storage means and conveying and feeding recording papers stably. SOLUTION: This paper sheet feeding device is constituted in such a way that it has a bottom part recording paper sheet guide 1 supporting stacked recording paper sheets P from below and a slit plate 2 which brings a tip side of the recording paper sheet P into contact with it, a slit S is formed between a lower end part of the slit plate 2 and a top face of the bottom part recording paper sheet guide 1, and a pick up roller 18 which conveys the recording paper sheet P passing the slit S to just downstream side in the direction of paper sheet feed of the slit S and a friction roller 20 which comes into pressure-contact with the pick up roller 18 by a pressure-contact means 15 are arranged opposingly. The slit plate 2 is arranged on a support member 7 in such a manner that a dimension of the slit S of the paper sheet feeding device becomes smaller than a thickness of one recording paper sheet before a thickness of paper sheet is adjusted, the friction roller 20 and the pressure- contact means 15 are arranged on the downstream side in the direction of paper sheet feed of the support member 7, and the support member 7 is arranged in the vertical and upward direction for the direction of arrangement of the bottom part recording paper sheet guide 1 and the pick up roller 18 so as to come into contact and leave freely.
